The Star Wars Mega Marathon

April 25, 2024

I began this journey just under a year ago on May 4, 2023 – Watching every piece of Star Wars, allowing one day for each movie/television episode.

I knew this would be a roller coaster with highs and lows. Those highs were awesome as I remembered the feeling that I had when I first saw these movies/shows.

The lows were not very low. I am one who is just happy to be along for the ride. Some of my favorite Star Wars moments are the weirder ones, and I am so excited to see the galaxy expand so much!

Will I ever do this again? Not anytime soon. Just with all the new content added in 2023 and 2024, I would have to add 52 days.

I am excited to be a Star Wars fan in this period of growth, and I can’t wait to see what comes next!

ORIGINAL POST:

Revenge of the Sith was last in theaters in 2005. Since then, there have been five more movies released, and Star Wars has hit the streaming services with Disney+. The amount of Star Wars content has increased significantly!

With this in mind, I am going to begin my Star Wars Mega Marathon! As of May 4, 2023, I am viewing every movie and TV show that is canon (in my head) chronologically. I will give one day to each movie or TV episode.

It should take me 357 days.

Here is the listing. Below that, I am including some thoughts I have on the re-watch that includes the additional perspective of having seen the movies and shows (and a lot of books) before.

Access denied.

The Rise of Skywalker

This mysterious broadcast occurred in the video game Fortnite on December 15, 2019, four days before the film was released. See video below.
Poe utilizes the technique of lightspeed skipping to escape the First Order. We see four locations during this process:
The Crystal Chaos of the Cardovyte
The Mirror-Spires of Ivexia
The Megafauna Chasm of Typhonic Nebula
Ajan Kloss
If you ever want to do the Aki-Aki dance, here is a full version of the song.
A closer look at the dagger.
This character is not named in the movie right away, but this is Ochi of Bestoon. He is an assassin who features prominently in the comics. See picture below.
The loss of a legend.
Reinforcements have arrived!
Chief Wicket and his son!

4/23/24, Day 356

The Last Jedi

Hope this porg doesn’t accidentally kill his friend.
The sacred Jedi texts.
This must be traumatic! There is a similar scene in the first season of the Mandalorian where a monkey lizard sees another being roasted.
The symbol of the Prime Jedi.
A lot of Star Wars storytelling has shown that Jedi Temples are built on top of Sith sources of energy. So this first Jedi Temple must also exist near a source of dark side power.
The letters CBPD are on their helmets. My guess is that is the Canto Bight Police Department.
In the Clone Wars Micro-Series, they refer to one of the most important Jedi Trials as “The Mirror.”
“The greatest teacher, failure is.”

4/22/24, Day 355

The Force Awakens

Stopping the blaster bolt in mid air, a jaw dropping moment!
Rey is using the downed ruins of an AT-AT as her home.
Black clothing in the Jakku sun? Not envious!
Tell that to Kanjiklub!
We have learned since the movie’s release that Starkiller Base was built into the planet Ilum.
So many Star Wars symbols can be found in these flags and banners. The logo for the 501st. can be seen in the upper left.
R2-D2 makes his appearance!
JB-007 played by Daniel Craig.
R2-KT can be seen on the very right.

The Imperial ship has a vacuum tube similar to the one we see in episode 4.

4/16/24, Day 349

Resistance S2E13

This is a cool shot of the Colossus hiding from the First Order in the planet’s clouds. It is visible here with the lightning.

4/15/24, Day 348

Resistance S2E12

Leechee’s Junk Emporium.

4/14/24, Day 347

Kaz has really upset the pirates!

4/12/24, Day 345

Venisa Doza makes reference to the planet Bakura, the location of one of the first EU novels.

4/10/24, Day 343

Resistance S2E7

As this might be a Temple of the Force, is that a purgill or some other Force related animal?
Mika Grey reveals that Kaz was in a Jedi temple and is now in a Sith Temple. The Jedi Temple was built on top of this Sith Temple. Much of Star Wars story telling uses this idea. The Jedi Temple on Coruscant is built on top of a Sith Temple.
Mika further affirms the idea that the force resides in all living beings.

Bad Batch S3E12

The return of Admiral Rampart.

4/9/24, Day 342

Resistance S2E6

It looks as though droids can stare into hyperspace without going insane.

I believe this is the first asymmetrical tattoo on a Mirialan that we have seen.

While this picture was not taken on April 1, some students at MIT decorated The Great Dome on their campus as R2-D2 on May 17 1999 in preparation for the release of the Phantom Menace on May 19 of the same year.

Resistance S1E19

Tam is presented with Kaz’s service records by Agent Tierney. Here is the translation.

Resistance S1E17

Target.
Kaz and BB-8 part ways. The next time we see BB-8 will be in episode 7.

3/29/24, Day 331

Resistance S1E16

I didn’t notice this running joke that started in the last episode. Kaz comments to the Frigosian, “This would go a lot faster if you had a floor sweeper.”
This galactic map has marked some key planets/moons:

1. Takodana
2. Jedha
3. Yavin
4. Twon Ketee. This one I was unfamiliar with. Wookieepedia says it is the planet that rathtars are from.

Elevator music.

3/27/24, Day 329

3/23/24, Day 325

Resistance S1E10

Downloading.

3/22/24, Day 324

Resistance S1E9

This is the astronomic R4-D12. Since this droid and his owner Marcus Speedstar sport a purple color scheme, I can’t help but think this is a reference to the Eminem song that he did with D12 – Purple Hills or Purple Pills (The more explicit version).

3/21/24, Day 323

Resistance S1E8

The helmet of the pirate with the stormtrooper armor was damaged since the battle in S1E3. It could be a different pirate altogether.
Look at all the Imperial ranks on this pirate.

3/20/24, Day 322

Resistance S1E7

Here is a good look at the braces that Tam has on her legs. We never had a chance to explore the reason she has these.
Poe threatens, “Why you little!” an homage to Homer Simpson.

Bad Batch S3E8

The pit droid is wearing a hat.
VIP lounge.

3/19/24, Day 321

Resistance S1E6

Commander Pyre. I love me some gold armor!
These are the Chelidae. I wonder if they are related to the Noti from Ahsoka. They move much slower.

3/18/24, Day 320

Resistance S1E5

Captain Doza reminds me of Captain Gloval from Robotech, especially with the accent.
So many easter eggs in Torra’s room! What sticks out to me include the Skyhopper and the painting on the right. Sabine had painted the same thing inside of the Ghost.

3/17/24, Day 319 – Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Sabine’s seat is still painted.

3/8/24, Day 310

Ahsoka S1E3

“I can’t see. How am I supposed to fight?”

3/7/24, Day 309

Ahsoka S1E2

Star Wars Stonehenge.
A much brighter and less polluted Corellia than the one we saw in Solo.

3/6/24, Day 308

Ahsoka S1E1

Live action Jai Kell him Ryder Azadi.
Sabine has been doodling a lot of loth cats (and one loth wolf) since we have last seen her.
The symbol below has been associated with witches IRL.
Huge fan of the end credit theme.

Bad Batch S3E5

Wrecker asks, “Why is there always a huge monster?”
The podcast Star Wars 7×7 did a deep dive into how there is a huge monster in almost every episode of the Bad Batch.

3/5/24, Day 307

Mandalorian S3E8

The mouse droid brought his friends to deal with R5-D4.

Coming off the pages of Aftermath.
I couldn’t translate it all, but I got this far: On a new armored space station.

2/8/24, Day 281

Mandalorian S1E4

It’s Eugene Cordero!
Similar to real life, the kids love Grogu.
Training montage.

S1E5

I am sure I am not the first to point out that this is the same shot of Tattooine as from episode 4.
For comparison.
Does that Jawa blaster belong to a former boyfriend?
Frog Lady was hanging out in the cantina a season prior.

2/7/24, Day 280

Mandalorian S1E2

Outgunned!
The Jawas pillaged a lot of parts.

S1E3

We finally see the purpose of a camtono.
Do we see this Mon Calamari in season 3?

Mandalorian S1E1

Wanted.
The process of summoning a taxi is similar to the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic or I am sure many other games.
Carbon freezing technology has become more portable over the years.
Are they wearing Life Day robes?
Another appearance of a blurrg.

2/5/24, Day 278

Return of the Jedi

I just noticed that it is a Jawa that is fanning Jabba.
Rats!
We learn in Solo that this disguise had been on the Millennium Falcon for quite a while.
Yoda’s blanket is supposed to be Qui-Gon’s Jedi robe.
Wicket’s comfort with humans may come from the time interacting with Cindel.
It is said that the original Death Star took 24 hours to recharge the laser. This newer version can fire more rapidly.
Much of the Death Star wreckage will end up on one of Endor’s other moons Kef Bir.
The celebration on Coruscant will be quickly put down by the Empire.

2/4/24, Day 277

The Battle for Endor

Don’t mess with the bull. You’ll get the horns! Paul Gleason takes over the role of Jeremitt. I remember Paul most as Richard Vernon in The Breakfast Club.
I think it is interesting that the Towani family is so eager to get back to civilization. Are they negatively affected by the Empire?
I believe this is the first appearance of blurrgs.
Charal is a Nightsister.
This story got very dark quickly.
These are similar charges to what Han solo used in episode 6.
Some Ewoks have had experience with blasters before episode 6.
Glasses exist in the Star Wars Galaxy.
While this is goodbye, we see Cindel in Legends in the novel Tyrant’s Test where she appears as a journalist.
The Dark Horse Comic Shadows of Endor show how many of the Ewok adventures fit into the Star Wars Canon.

Taking a break. I will make it up on another day.

Murder bear brandishing a knife!
The original Mace in the Star Wars saga. Mace Towani.
Cindel teaches Wicket a few words of basic.
Miniature horses exist on the moon of Endor.

This reminds me of Lord of the Rings somewhat.
A giant spider? Definitely Lord of the Rings vibes.
The Gorax is gigantic!

1/31/24, Day 273

Empire Strikes Back

I do think that it is hilarious that covering C-3PO ‘s mouth is an effective way of keeping him quiet.
Luke basking in the afterglow of the kiss is amazing!
There is a deleted scene involving this door and a wampa.
Ugh! Threepio!
Yoda explains that he has trained Jedi for 800 years. He is 900 years old when he dies. Grogu is 50 years old when we meet him in the Mandalorian. Might we extrapolate when Grogu will reach adulthood?
In the Clone Wars Micro-Series, it is explained that all padawans must face “The Mirror.”
Lobot loses the ability to speak five years prior. Those events are detailed in Marvel’s Lando comic issue #5.
If looks could kill.

1/30/24, Day 272

The Holiday Special – Originally aired on November 17, 1978 on CBS. If you have never seen it, check it out here.

I believe this is the first time that we are seeing the Wookiee home world of Kashyyk.
It is almost all Wookiees in the beginning. If this is your first time watching you have to push past the first 12 minutes. Good luck!
I love Gormaanda and all the food focused characters in the saga. Stir, whip, stir, whip, whip, whip, stir!
First appearance of Boba Fett.
I think it is great that they had flat screens in mind in 1978.
This musical number is my favorite part of the show. Check out the soundtrack!
Life Day robes are becoming common among fans these days.

1/29/24, Day 271

A New Hope

Power, inoperative, tractor beam 12.
Celebration!

1/28/24, Day 270

1/27/24, Day 269

Rebels S4E15

Just how real is the choice that Palpatine is offering?
What exactly are these guys? Royal Guard?
Ezra has Thrawn right where he wants him!
Ezra says, “I wanted it to be a surprise.” This phrase seems to explain some odd behavior in the future.
The Chimera is in really bad shape when we last see it.
Ezra mirrors Kanan’s final pose.
This finale has everyone feeling this way!
The moment Sabine takes possession of Ezra’s lightsaber.
She handles it like a pro.

1/26/24, Day 268

Rebels S4E14

Assembling the team.
Family reunion.

1/25/24, Day 267

Rebels S4E13

I am not the first to mention this, but the image on the left side appears to be Grogu in one of the final scenes of the finale of season 3 of the Mandalorian.
Sabine borrows a line from Han Solo: “Sorry about the mess.”
Almost all the gateways in the World Between Worlds are circles except one. That one is a a triangle and leads to a Sith temple.
I think this symbol was also seen on Mortis.

1/24/24, Day 266

Rebels S4E12

When Ezra activates the painting, the Father begins to point to something. This holds new significance in light of the season 1 finale of Ahsoka.
It’s about to get weird!

More Sabine artwork.
As I rewatch the show, I am beginning to think that Dave Filoni had Sabine’s force journey in mind all along. Kanan says in reference to her, “The force resides in all living things. But you have to be open to it.”

By the way, this does not match up to the sentence and charges that Cassian received.

Andor S1E6

This is a better lookout post than the one the Rebels had on Yavin 4.
The Imperial military has catering.

Have to check on Han’s age during this point of the timeline. Based on Qi’ra’s reaction, Han must kiss like an overzealous teenager.
Han makes reference to stealing AV-21’s on the streets of Corellia. This was a speeder featured in the video game Star Wars Galaxies.
While aboard the First Light, Qi’ra makes reference to Dok-Ondar from Baatu. He is supposed to be somewhere on board the ship.
The winning hand!

Surely, this kind of treatment at the hands of Dr. Hemlock will give Crosshair a change of heart.

We haven’t seen Cody since Utapau in episode 3.

10/12/23, Day 162

Bad Batch, S2E2

Tech is remarkably calm for having just broken his femur.
One reason I like Tech so much is that he is very open to looking at things from a different point of view.

10/11/23, Day 161

The scenery plus the team getting chased by crabs reminds me of Rakata Prime from KOTOR and SWTOR, but it is in the fact the planet Aynaboni.

Bad Batch, S1E14

  • This episode is called War-Mantle. War-Mantle was one of the projects mentioned in the data archive in the movie Rogue One.
  • Even the music is reminiscent of the hallway scenes from episode 4.
The design of the hallways is reminiscent to that of the Death Star.
Welcome back Gregor! I would still like to see the story of how he survivedthe explosion.
Shields inactive.

Bad Batch, S1E13

The scene reminds me of the bats under the bridge in Austin, TX.

9/30/23, Day 150

  • Bad Batch, S1E5
Ord Mantell.
This game is called credit pusher.
  • Bad Batch, S1E6
It looks as though the Martez Sisters were able to restore Ahsoka’s astromech, R7-A7. I believed the droid to have been destroyed in the Clone Wars final episode. You can see Wrecker is still nursing his head injury.

9/29/23, Day 149

Taking a break today because it is my alma mater’s homecoming.

Bad Batch, S1E1

From the ashes of the Clone Wars comes the Bad Batch!
Depa Billaba’s final instruction to her padawan. Caleb Dume, ” You must run!”
Interesting symbolism here. Crosshair is the only one who is keeping his helmet on. I would say this is foreshadowing that he will remain loyal to the empire and the rest of Clone Force 99 will go on the run.
The regs are marching through the hallway in formation. In contrast, the Bad Batch is moving in a gaggle.
We first saw the training facility when we met Domino Squad as cadets.
You can recognize the rebels of Onderon from their insignia. The one in the center has it on his helmet.
Omega’s theme is one of my favorite musical pieces in Star Wars.

9/24/23, Day 144

  • Tales of the Jedi Episode 6
The Y-Wing behind Rex was the same one that he and Ahsoka used to escape the Tribunal in the last episode of the Clone Wars.
I believe the same vehicle is seen during season 1 of the Mandalorian.
I don’t think we ever learned a numeric designation for this Inquisitor.

9/23/23, Day 143

  • Revenge of the Sith
A move Chopper would approve!
The last meeting between master and apprentice before Order 66.
Anakin and the 501st first are shown in the same walkway that we saw in the finale of season 5 of Clone Wars where Ahsoka parted ways with the Jedi Order.
The droid on the left seems to be sticking Anakin with that sharp needle just for fun.

9/22/23, Day 142

  • CW S7E12 – The end of a journey and., And what a journey it has been!
Not the droids!
You can see the remains of R7-A7, Ahsoka’s astromech going back to season 1.

This final episode of the show contains some of the most stunning images in all of Star Wars. Here are a few.

The odds are seemingly stacked against Ahsoka and Rex.
The final moments of the Star Destroyer Tribunal.
Desperation!
The final image from the show.

Now that we have reached the end of the show, some thoughts:

  • Over 133 episodes, both George and Dave really built out the Galaxy. The amount of world building, character development, and detail that occurred in the show is insane. Sadly, I don’t think we will see the like again.
  • That in part is due to the resources that George devoted to the show. Some sources say that each episode of the show cost 1 to 2 million dollars. Rebels in comparison cost. about $500,000 per episode.
  • I would speculate that George let his staff on the show really explore anything they wanted. Padme had a new outfit in almost every arc she was in. In some scenes, there were dozens of extra characters. This really made the spaces feel lived in and populated.
  • Also, I don’t think viewers in general have the attention span for a show with 22 episodes a season. I love a short and succinct show with a clear beginning and end that doesn’t overstay its welcome, but I think it is the only thing that we have an appetite for these days.
  • I will close by saying that Ahsoka is a character so beloved because we had all this time to really know and see her character grow and develop. I don’t think the audience knew it at the beginning, but Ahsoka was really the main character of this show.

9/21/23, Day 141

  • CW S7E11
Ahsoka may have started everything with all the “citizen” talk, but Mace is still a jerk.

9/20/23, Day 140

  • CW S7E10
The prison on Mandalore.
Dryden Vos!

9/19/23, Day 139

  • CW S7E9
The last moments Ahsoka and Anakin are together.
Almec, wearing his full Mandalorian armor. I like to think every pacifist Mandalorian is hiding their family armor underneath their bed.

9/18/23, Day 138

  • CW S7E8
These are Toong, the same species as Ben Quadinaros.

9/17/23, Day 137

  • CW S7E7
Rafa recounts a story that involves S1E22. This is the backstory that provides an explanation to why Trace and Rafa are in the situation that Ahsoka finds them in. I would be interested in watching this episode again to see if the details that Rafa provide are the same.

9/16/23, Day 136

  • CW S7E6
Kessel has a nice section of the planet.

9/15/23, Day 135

  • CW S7E5
We haven’t seen Ahsoka since the end of season 5. When we catch up to her, she is in a tight spot.
The laundromat sign says open 24 hours. Coruscant seems to be on a 24 hour day schedule.
The name of Calrissian can be seen on the blue sign.
Three of the original Kenner outfits can be seen here.

  • CW S7E4

The poster in the back says space battles.
Wrecker happily lifting a gonk droid in one hand and with a drumstick in the other.

There seem to be similar vehicles in the starfighter hanger on Yavin IV in episode 4.
Kix has a new haircut.

9/10/24, Day 130

  • Clone Wars Micro-Series, Part 2
The symbol on the clone pilot’s helmet is similar to the insignia of the Mandalorian Protectors.
The insignia of the Mandalorian Protectors.
Another example of Mace Windu using his shatterpoint ability. This one results in Grievous’ cough.

9/9/23, Day 129

  • Tales of the Jedi, Episode 5
The early season Clone Wars models for Obi-Wan and Anakin were updated for this show.
Overwhelming odds!

9/8/23, Day 128

  • CW S6E13
Yoda says that he is not the ghost of Darth Bane, but I like to think he is.

9/7/23, Day 127

  • CW S6E12
The Force Priestesses – Joy, Anger, Serenity, Confusion, and Sadness.
In the Ahsoka show, Huyang comments that there is an unorthodox line of. Jedi. Yoda, Dooku, Qui-Gonn, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Ahsoka, Sabine. I wonder if we will ever learn who was Yoda’s master.

9/6/23, Day 126

  • CW S6E11
Yoda’s first trip to Dagobah.

9/5/23, Day 125

  • Ahsoka S1E4

  • CW S6E8
An odd, but comical pairing.

9/2/23, Day 122

  • CW S6E7
The dual control of the banks by the by the Confederacy and the Republic lasts only a short time.

9/1/23, Day 121

  • CW S6E6
If looks could kill!
Compared to the other Jedi bedrooms, Anakin’s has so much more stuff.
The poster in Anakin’s room says: The sport’s greatest rivalry. Quadinaros vs Sebulba, We’ll sell you the whole seat but you’ll only need the edge.
Another red flag! Run Padme!

8/31/23, Day 120

  • CW S6E5
What is it with Padme and roaring fires with men that she is not wishing to get involved with?
Bank documents.

8/30/23, Day 119

  • CW S6E4
I have been told that this is the same room that Anakin is operated on at the end of Episode 3.
The red sign in the back is a tribute to the maintenance clone Ninety-Nine.
The sign says latrine. There are facilities for humans, Jawas, and Hutts.
The sign on the Hutt door says out of order. Do NOT go in there!
The graffiti near Kix is of a tauntaun and it says 5’s sister.

8/29/23, Day 118

  • CW S6E3
It says: auto pilot.
  • Ahsoka S1E3

8/28/23, Day 117

  • CW S6E2

The screen reads: scanning level 5, atomic field up, containment field, scanning sectors.

8/27/23, Day 116

  • CW S6E1
This is the planet Ringo Vinda. For some reason, I thought it was Kuat. Both have space stations that encircle the planet.
Commander Doom has such a cool design.

8/26/23, Day 115

  • CW S5E20
This room has a name, the Chamber of Judgment.
Heartbreaking.

8/25/23, Day 114

The warrant reads: warrant for arrest. Ahsoka Tano, Jedi. Armed and dangerous. They certainly chose a picture that makes her look menacing.
Curious about the statue in the room.

8/24/23, Day 113

  • CW S5E18
Anakin admonishes Ahsoka and tells her, “Revenge is not the Jedi I way.” He will say this to her again during the season 2 finale of Rebels.
As Ahsoka is scanned for security, the screen reads: Personnel scanner, commlink, weapon.
Tarkin does the same thing to Leia.
This wall remembering fallen clones will be seen again during season 2 of the Bad Batch.

8/23/23, Day 112

  • CW S517
Episode three starfighters . We must be getting close to the end of the Clone Wars.
I would love to know who the Jedi that are depicted in the statues and carvings outside of the temple.
First appearance of the Jedi Temple Guard. What is the story behind them? Who are the people behind the mask? How do you get to be a temple guard? So many questions!
Look who is sneaking around in the background!

8/22/23, Day 111 – Happy Tano Tuesday!

  • CW S5E16
Satine’s nephew Korkie to the rescue! I am still hoping he will show up later wearing Mandalorian armor.
Korkie’s friends, Soniee, Amis, and Lagos, from season three are here to help.
Satine has enough bars to send her message.
The destruction of the Twilight. So sad. It was a cool and unique ship.
  • Ahsoka S1E1-2. My commentary for this show will happen later on in the year.

8/21/23, Day 110

  • CW S5E15
Death Watch wins the support of the people through fear.
Where did Pre’s head go?

8/20/23, Day 109

The Black Sun, led by a council of Falleen. This criminal organization was first introduced in Shadows of the Empire multimedia project.

8/19/23, Day 108

  • CW S5E13
A space station orbiting the planet Carida. In the Expanded Universe, Carida was the home of one of the Imperial Academies.

8/18/23, Day 107

  • CW S5E12
The Kenner version of Walrusman’s outfit is canon! He is also using a spittoon.
Just noticed that the restaurant that Gregor works at has a name: Power Sliders. The “P” has fallen off the sign.
On the menu are Fambaa Delight and Eopie Stew. Both of those animals were seen in Episode I.
Gregor’s file has this information: Status, MIA, Battle of Serrish
The separatists are transporting the highly explosive material rhydonium. This material will be part of the plot of S2E7 the Mandalorian.

8/17/23, Day 106

  • CW S5E11
Hyperspace seems to take on a red glow if there are obstacles in the path.
Since Jaxxon shows up in other stories further down the timeline, this must be some other dead Lepi.

8/16/24, Day 105

  • CW S5E10
The members of D-Squad.

8/15/23, Day 104

  • CW S5E9
Hondo has been in possession of the Slave-1 all this time. He has also painted his pirate insignia on the ship.

8/14/23, Day 103

  • CW S5E8
Gungi’s lightsaber has a very fitting design.
Byph is doing the crane technique!

8/13/23, Day 102

  • CW S5E7
The droid Huyang will be showing up in the Ahsoka series in just 10 days!
Training remotes are easily recognized from their appearance in Episode IV.

8/12/23, Day 101

  • CW S5E6
The planet Ilum is converted into Starkiller Base in Episode 7.
Get Gungi a jacket!

8/11/23, Day 100

  • CW S5E5
The pirate on the right is holding a slingshot on Anakin.
Hondo’s ship is also the same model as Lando’s Lady Luck.

8/10/23, Day 99

  • CW S5E4
Steela’s larger than life hologram reminds me of Maarva’s hologram during the finale of Andor.
Steela’s sniper rifle is massive!

8/9/23, Day 98

  • CW S5E3
The layout for the city of Iziz is very similar to its layout in the video game SWTOR. Very cool to see that the city has not changed much in 3000 years!
Life under the rule of King Rash reminds me of Game of Thrones.
The markings for the Onderon rebels can be seen on Saw Gerrera’s shoulder. This would remain their insignia for years to come.

8/8/23, Day 97

  • CW S5E2
Remember how I said Lux would not return until the Battlefront II novel? I forgot about the Onderon arc.
Rex’s helmet markings from his clone armor can be found on his chest armor here.
Since the Tales of the Jedi comic, Onderon has been known for its wide range of wildlife. Many of them come from its moon of Dxun.

8/7/23, Day 96

  • CW S5E1
Blue Snaggletooth is canon!
Brutal! Savage Oppress impales Adi Gallia on his horns!
The sign reads: Hondo’s salvage, prices slashed.

Nubs’ favorites spot on Tanoo.
They play darts in the Star Wars Galaxy!

8/6/23, Day 95

  • CW S4E22
The bartender is wearing a bow tie.
The words in red translate to: wanted, reward, dead, alive. The other bounties are for Nim Mindbend, Omar Toggs, Zog Tassik.
This is a menacing image!
  • YJA S1E12
The villains!

8/5/23, Day 94

  • CW S4E21
The sign on the diner door reads: Open.
I think it is awesome that there are diners in the Star Wars Galaxy.
This was not the reunion that Savage Oppress was expecting.
  • YJA S1E11
I love all the musical bands in the Star Wars Galaxy.

8/4/23, Day 93

  • CW S4E20
The team of bounty hunters is using Bossk’s ship, the Hound’s Tooth.
Latts Razzi is a member of the Theelin species, one of the cooler aliens in Star Wars in my opinion. Another Theelin is seen in the Alphabet Squadron trilogy of books.
  • YJA S1E10
Add Tanoo Visitor’s Day on August 2 to the list of Star Wars holidays.

8/3/23, Day 92

  • CW S4E19
I would love to know the meaning behind the artwork in the background.
Did I mention the red planet Dathomir looks so cool?
We are getting into the horror genre now with undead Nightsisters!
Speaking of horror, there was a book series called Galaxy of Fear. I hope this could be a future project delving into the horror genre.
We saw the Defoliator back in S1E14.
  • YJA S1E9
Now say it, SLOWLY.

8/2/23, Day 91

  • CW S4E18
    • Add the Naboo Festival of Light on February 10 to the list of Star Wars holidays.
This kind of speeder was seen in Episode I.
Another sighting of Amidala’s insignia.
It is in the fireworks also.
Correction: Perhaps the insignia is for the Queen or all of Naboo as Queen Neeyutnee has it as well.
  • YJA S1E8
Lys’ affinity for animals guarantees there will always be fun pets. in this show.

8/1/23, Day 90

  • CW S4E17
Kenobi is introduced as Rako Hardeen, the Marksman of Concord Dawn. Does this mean he is a Mandalorian? Also, his helmet is the original design for Boba Fett’s helmet.
The Selkath were first introduced in Knights of the Old Republic.

7/31/23, Day 89

  • CW S4E16
    • Moralo Eval speaks in the third person.
The Hutt homeworld of Nal Hutta is super polluted.
Cad Bane considers Indiana Jones’s hat.
The ship that is purchased is the same model as Lando’s Lady Luck.
Drunk Sy Snootles receives a helping hand from her girlfriends.
There are several ships that are the same model as Kyle Katarn’s Moldy Crow for sale.

7/30/23, Day 88

  • CW S4E15
That is a scary needle! And it is going in the neck?!
The Aurebesh on his sleeve reads prisoner.
Sneaking out of prison masquerading as dead bodies is very Count of Monte Cristo.

7/29/23, Day 87

  • CW S4E14
This hallway is adorned with the Mandalorian Ironheart.
I would put R2-D2 in a similar position when I played with my Kenner toys.
The next time we see Lux Bonteri will be in the Battlefront II novel with Inferno Squad.

7/28/23, Day 86

  • CW S4E13
Hondo’s monkey lizard and makes an appearance on Zygerria.
Rex proclaims, “I am no Jedi.” Ahsoka will say the same thing a few years later.

7/27/23, Day 85

  • CW S4E12
    • As the heroes approach Zygerria, there are a lot of ships on route. I assume all of them are full of people set to be enslaved.
This show is full of animal gags. Here you see two creatures dueling with weapons.
The slave trade attracts some of the galaxy’s most notorious, including members of the Five Families of the Hutts and the Banking Clan.

7/26/23, Day 84

  • CW S4E11
    • Do the Togrutas have a home planet?
I wish Hasbro would make a speeder bike with a side car. I think the paint job is of a rancor.

7/25/23, Day 83

  • CW S4E10
Kix has this in aurebesh on his head: A good droid is a dead one. I think it is funny because Kix is a medic.
One of the casualties is Waxer. You might remember him from the Ryloth arc. He still has the drawing of the Twi’lek girl Numa on his helmet.
Pong Krell digs into his wrestling library and performs a backbreaker on one of the clones.
  • The Battle of Jedha audio drama
    • I also finished listening to this today. One of the interesting things is the city of Jedha is presented as a city similar city to Jerusalem, but in the Star Wars Galaxy. Many different force related religions view Jedha as a holy city.
    • P3-7A is a droid in service of the Church of the Force, the same church that Lor San Tekka belongs to. He has a funny glitch. He can only speak in force related proverbs. He is a walking container of force related fortune cookies. He says things like: “Only the force can judge our worth. We are all but wretches before its glory.”

7/24/23, Day 82

  • CE S4E8
    • General Krell callously kicks the body of a dead clone out of the way.
    • Sergeant Appo, who will be promoted to commander in episode three, makes what I believe to be his first appearance in this episode.
  • CW S4E9
Fives, Hardcase, and Jesse pull a young Anakin and destroy Separatist ship from the inside.

7/23/23, Day 81

7/22/23, Day 80

Taking a break from the marathon because I am Star Warsing with my friends from the PSWCS at the Summer Social in Western PA!

7/21/23, Day 79

  • CW S4E7
    • This arc is very much like a war movie.
Many members of the 501st are featured in this episode.
I think Pong Krell has a book on effective leadership. That’s sarcasm.

7/20/23, Day 78

  • CW S4E6
    • This episode and the last one remind me of the Droids cartoon that aired in the 1980s.
    • Padme mentions that C-3PO is familiar with a million different planets!
Oz, the great and powerful! Well, kinda.
R2 has the remains of the Big Hay-Zu splattered across his torso through most of this episode.
This droid reminds me of an ASP-7 from A New Hope.

7/19/23, Day 77

  • CW S4E5
Plo’s Bros or the 104th Battalion, The Wolf Pack!
The Aleena are an enthusiastic and affectionate people.
The Kindalo are a tree like species, similar to the Ents in Lord of the Rings.
The mysterious Orphne. I love it when Star Wars delves deep into the fantasy realm.

7/18/23, Day 76

  • CW S4E4
    • When they approach Otoh Gunga, they are playing the same music that they used in Episode I.
Another sighting of Amidala’s crest.
Minister Rish Loo = Cardinal Richelieu (from history and The Three Musketeers).
The Gungans have a bombad army!

7/17/23, Day 75

  • CW S4E3
Blurry, but holy $#!*!
We have wondered for decades what Ackbar’s accessory was in the original Kenner figure.
Another example of the amazing detail in this show.

7/16/24, Day 74

  • CW S4E2
Riff Tamson has to relocate his jaw after taking a shot from Kit Fisto.
Zoinks! Senator Meena Tills and Jar Jar are caught in an awkward and comical embrace.

7/15/23, Day 73

  • CW S4E1
We see Lee-Char make several appearances in the comic books later.
Captain Ackbar declares, “It’s an attack!” Of course, this statement will evolve into, “It’s a trap!”
Kit Fisto flashes a winning smile. He does the same in all his apearances – Micro-Series, Episode II. Well, not Episode III when… you know.

7/14/23, Day 72

  • CW S3E22
    • I thought they were different birds at first, but Ahsoka’s Convorees are prominent in this episode.
More Trandoshan vehicles with scary faces.
Sugi and her bounty hunter crew make another appearance.
Sugi’s ship has some interesting nose art. It reminds me of a Pokemon. The Aurebesh reads: Nice playing with ya.
Trophies in the Trandoshan lair.
More trophies.
Is that a Mandalorian helmet from Knights of the Old Republic? And a crystal skull?
Master and Apprentice.

7/13/23, Day 71

  • CW S3E21
    • This begins one of my favorite arcs in the show.
The Trandoshans like to paint menacing faces on their vehicles.
In the hunters’ compound, they have many trophies, including many Wookiees.

7/12/23, Day 70

  • CW S3E20
Ahsoka is not fond of Tarkin. She gives a vicious “side eye.” I have noticed that Ahsoka is animated with so many different expressions.

7/11/23, Day 69

  • CW S3E19
First, no handrails. Now, no safeties on the doors. So many OSHA violations in Star Wars.
I don’t like to theorize much, but I do have a theory that Echo Base on Hoth is named after ARC Trooper Echo.

7/10/23, Day 68

  • CW S3E18
    • The Nexus Route is described as a secret hyperspace route. The idea of a secret hyperspace route would be relevant to the plot point of how hyperspace works in the High Republic novels.
The planet Lola Sayu is missing a big chunk.

7/9/23, Day 67

  • CW S3E17
One of my favorite images from the show.

7/8/23, Day 66

  • CW S3E16

But he looked so cute and friendly!
The Son seems to have a Mandalorian Iron Heart in his armor.
The Daughter is always surrounded by light.
The Father has wings.

7/7/23, Day 65

  • CW S3E15
Welcome to Mortis!
It’s not really a planet. I am not sure what it is.
The foliage distinctly changes from green to red. Perhaps the difference in territory between the Daughter and Son? It is when they cross into the red that they experience danger.
Lots of symbols in this episode.

7/6/23, Day 64

  • CW S3E14
    • Savage Oppress is so tall he has to bend to enter Dooku’s ship.
Delta Squad!
Savage loses a horn at some point during the battle with Kenobi and Skywalker, but it is off camera.

7/5/23, Day 63

  • CW S3E13
    • Mother Talzin has an eerie echo to her voice.
    • Why does Dooku refers to Mother Talzin as sister?
    • Savage Oppress’ first mission is at the Temple of Eedit on the planet Devaron. That location is featured in the book Weapon of a Jedi.

7/4/23, Day 62

  • CW S3E12
This is the same ship that Ventress uses in the Micro-Series.
The scavenger ship “Raider” has Tusken artwork on its side.

7/3/23, Day 61

  • CW S3E11
    • The Banking Clan offers the Republic a loan with an interest rate of 25%! Loan sharks! 🦈
    • This episode is chock-full of politics – budgets, whipping the votes.
For the statistics nerds.
Check out the painting of Alderaan in Bail’s office. If this was the painting “Killik Twilight,” I would freak out!
There is a 911 system in the Star Wars Galaxy!
The handmaiden, Teckla, is holding Padmé’s hairpiece. I am disappointed to know that this is not Padmé’s real hair.

7/2/23, Day 60

  • CW S3E10
    • I would guess this show had a near limitless budget. Looking at the senate scene, there are so many aliens in the background. The amount of detail in this show is staggering.
The Muun Nix Card Is gigantic at over 8 feet tall!
CIS Senator Mina Bonteri is from Onderon, my favorite planet. It is my favorite because of all the lore surrounding the planet. You can see a lot of it in The Tales of the Jedi comic by Dark Horse.

7/1/24, Day 59

  • CW S3E9
“That’s your opinion, man.” Shout out to the Big Lebowski?

6/30/23, Day 58

  • CW S3E8
The Aurebesh on the display reads: C-3PO human cyborg relations.

6/29/23, Day 57

  • CW S3E7
Ahsoka keeps her quarters quite sparse.
Yoda has his own symbol displayed prominently in his room.
On board Padme’s ship, her symbol is on display on the bed headboards.
We are welcomed to Alderaan with Princess Leia’s theme.
The insignia of Alderaan is proudly displayed on Bail’s belt buckle.
Anyone know the significance of the painting in the lecture hall where Padme will give her speech on Alderaan?
The prison facility on Coruscant is just daring you to try and escape.

6/28/23, Day 56

  • CW S3E6
Anakin, you old smoothie!

Look at all that Aurebesh to translate!

Satine has an aquarium.

Cadets Soniee, Korkie, Lagos, and Amis. I hope Korkie is a nickname. If he is Satine’s nephew, who is his mother.? Bo-Katan?

6/27/23, Day 55

  • CW S3E5
    • Satine refers to the Mandalorians as a “people of tradition.” I would guess she is not referring to the warrior tradition.
There are several holographic busts in Almec’s office. I wonder who they are.
The Star Wars Galaxy has laptops! This one looks heavy.
The bottle reminds me of a pop bottle (I can say pop because I am in Michigan right now). The Aurebesh on the bottle label reads: AB Arrees Beverage. As we are on Mandalor, The rest of the writing is in Mandalorian script.
I noticed Padme’s insignia on two of her outfits in this episode. You can see it on her headpiece.

6/26/23, Day 54

The Pantorans have cool ships!

Chance cubes!

6/25/23, Day 53

  • CW S3E3
The Toydarian banquet table floats!

The last stand of Captain Keeli and Ima-Gun Di. Should have seen that one coming.

6/24/23, Day 52

  • CW S3E1
    • Bric refers to 99 as a “Bad Batcher.”
    • Commander Colt gives the order to start the citadel challenge, version THX variable 1138.
  • CW S3E2
Both Echo and Fives have a tribute to Hevy on their armor. It reads, “For Hevy.”

6/23/23, Day 51 – Oops! I totally forgot today. I shall double my efforts on episodes tomorrow.

6/22/23, Day 50

  • CW S2E22, Season 2 comes to an end.
This might be the first appearance of the pathway that leads to 1313 and the underworld.

Both of Hondo’s monkey lizards are alive and well… kinda!

This bar has a lot of pinups on the wall. Is that a handmaiden?

6/21/23, Day 49

  • CW S2E21
Mace does not care for the idiosyncrasies that Anakin has allowed to develop in R2-D2. Mace’s droid R8-B7 has a purple light on his dome.

6/20/23, Day 48

  • CW S2E20
    • Though he says the other clones are not his brothers, Boba is unwilling to kill the other clones. One could argue that this is an example of the foundation for his benevolent behavior seen in The Book of Boba Fett.

6/19/23, Day 47

  • CW S2E19
    • I do not like it when mom and dad (Padmé and Anakin) argue. 😫

6/18/23, Day 46

  • CW S2E18
The Republic uses an electro-proto-bomb. It affects droids but leaves organics unscathed. However, Anakin’s droid arm is affected.

The Dugs have a historic document that details the weakness of the Zillo Beast. Someone translate this, please!
Happy Father’s Day!

6/17/23, Day 45

  • CW S2E17
    • First appearance of Sugi the bounty hunter. Her niece, Jas Emari, Is one of the main characters in the Aftermath Trilogy.
The ejection system for the Republic ship involves transferring the passengers to bouncy balls.
Hondo has a new monkey lizard! What happened to the last one?

6/16/23, Day 44

  • CW S2E16
    • The aesthetic of the stealth ship reminds me of a submarine, down to the sound of a sonar.
    • When Obi-Wan tells Anakin that, “it is more important to save lives than it is to destroy ships,” it is similar to the idea in The Last Jedi that it is more important to save what you love than fight what you hate.
    • Similar stealth ships show up later. Grand Moff Tarkin uses one as his personal ship dubbed the Carrion Spike. The ship shows up again in the Poe Dameron comic book.
Did not notice that Admiral Trench has an insignia before.

6/15/23, Day 43

  • CW S2E15
You must whip it! I am sure I am not the first person to cast Lieutenant Divo in live action with Steve Buscemi.

6/14/23, Day 42

  • CW S2E14
    • Deputy minister Jerec is not the first Jerec we have seen in Star Wars.

Satine and Obi-Wan set up a secret meeting at Monument Plaza. There we see Umate for the first time visually represented in Star Wars.

6/13/23 – Day 41

  • CW S2E13
    • The tension between Obi-Wan and Satine is similar to that of Harry and Sally.
Orn Free Taa proudly with two women on his arm while among other government officials.

6/12/23 – Day 40

  • CW S2E12
    • The narrator says the Council of Neutral Systems consists of over 1500 systems. According to the website Star Wars Galaxy Map there are 2200 named planets (Legends and Canon). The Star Wars Galaxy is much bigger than I originally thought.
    • I always had a problem with Prime Minister Almec saying that Jango Fett was not a Mandalorian. With the added context that the show The Mandalorian provides, some native Mandalorians are prejudice against foundlings.
    • Pre Vizsla provides the initial history of the Darksaber. He says the Darksaber was retrieved from the Jedi Temple by his ancestors during the fall of the Old Republic. I would like to think that ancestor was Shae Vizla (they could have changed the spelling of the name over 3000 years) during the attack on the Jedi Temple. See the video below.

6/11/23 – Day 39

  • CW S2E11
Have a nice day! The arms dealer, Car Affa, has a smiley face on his shoulder.

I thought this potential suspect looked like one of the Tonnika sisters. The translation of the Aurebesh is: Last seen on Coruscant. Wanted for….

6/10/23 – Day 38

  • CW S2E10
Rex is not the only blonde clone.

6/9/23 – Day 37

  • CW S2E9
One of the Clones is Captain Lock. I remember finding this figure at a KMart in New Jersey.

6/8/23 – Day 36

  • CW S2E8
    • Mace Windu is mention being on the planet Dantooine. This is a reference to the clone wars micro-series.
There are two Havocs in the Grand Army of the Republic. This one is not the ARC trooper. He represents Tango Company.

The Tango Company insignia.

6/7/23 – Day 35

  • CW S2E7
    • Clone Wars dives into the horror genre by introducing zombie Geonosians. 🧟‍♀️🧟🧟‍♂️

6/6/23 – Day 34

  • CW S2E6
    • Check out the book Stories of Jedi and Sith. It provides more perspective on Bariss and how the experiences of this episode will impact her overall trajectory.

6/5/23 – Day 33

  • CW S2E5
    • Landing at Point Rain is my favorite episode of season 2! It is like an old-time war movie.
Bad kitty! The nose art on the LAATs are an awesome detail in the clone wars. Here are two that I noticed.

6/4/23 – Day 32

  • CW S2E4
The flirting between Padmé and Senator Rush Clovis of Scipio is not subtle at all.

6/3/23 – Day 31

  • CW S2E3
    • Things get dark as the Jedi aggressively probe Cad Bane’s mind with the Force.
    • The planet Glee Anselm is mentioned. It was also mentioned by Tobias Beckett in the Solo movie.

6/2/23 – Day 30

  • CW S2E2
    • A rough scene where Jedi Master Bolla Ropal is tortured to death! 😧

6/1/23 – Day 29

  • CW S2E1 – New month, new season of Clone Wars.
    • Anyone else think it’s really weird that the Jedi have a database of children? 🤨
TODO 360 is such a great droid!

5/31/23 – Day 28

  • CW S1E22
    • The Season 1 finale introduced Cad Bane, and he made a bloody splash with a high body count. He snaps a senate guard’s neck. He drops a grenade into a room of other senate guards. He shoots a senator in the back.
I just love the weird aliens like the Patrolian, Robonino.

5/30/23 -Day 27

  • CW S1E21
    • I was super confused by this. During the episode, they refer to the leader of the droid army on Ryloth as both Wat Tambor and Emir Tambor. “Emir,” I learned, is a title, not another person.
The AT-RTs are introduced. They move fast!

Another example of Mace Windu using his shatterpoint ability to break the glass to rescue the driver of the AT-TE.

5/29/23 – Day 26

  • CW S1E20
    • This episode focuses on Waxer and Boil of Ghost Company of the 212th Attack Battalion.
    • Nerra = brother in the Twi’lek language.
Boil had some choice facial hair.

The young Twi’lek girl Numa is represented later on Waxer’s helmet.

Today kicked off Star Wars Week on Wheel of Fortune!

5/28/23 – Day 25

  • CW S1E19
    • A significant character growth episode for Ahsoka.
    • I definitely noticed every time they play the Ahsoka theme song now.

5/27/23 – Day 24

  • CW S1E18
Anakin and Obi-Wan travel to Iego. There they meet an angel (Diathim). You might remember episode one where Anakin asks Padmé if she is an angel from Iego.

May 26, 2023 – Day 23

  • CW S1E17
Queen Neeyutnee is the ruler of the Naboo during the Clone Wars. The line of succession that we see in the Star Wars saga is: Amidala, Jamillia, Neeyutnee, Apailana.

The Grand Army of the Republic has a bomb squad. Officially, they are known as the Clone Ordinance Specialists.

The Separatist mad scientist Dr. Nuvo Vindi.

May 25, 2023 – Day 22

  • CW S1E16
    • People have said that Kenobi and Ventress are flirting in their interactions. I never noticed until the re-watch for this episode.
    • Kenobi to Ventress: “ and here I thought this mission would be unpleasant.“
Rex, Slick, Gus, and Chopper made for a cool group in this Clone Wars Hidden Enemy set.

May 24, 2023 – Day 21

  • CW S1E15
    • I think Pantorans are some of the cooler aliens in Star Wars.
Enter Senator Riyo Chuchi.

May 23, 2023 – Day 20

  • CW S1E14
George Takei enters the Star Wars Galaxy as Lok Durd.

May 22, 2023 – Day 19

  • CW S1E13
    • This is the first time we see a Twi’lek speaking with a French accent. 🇫🇷

Meet the Lurmen!

We see that the Lurmen roll into balls to move across the terrain. In my head canon, this is the inspiration for the Droideka.

May 21, 2023 – Day 18

  • CW S1E12
The pirate Turk describes Hondo as “ Not being able to kill a numa.”
I did not notice Hondo’s logo in the previous episode, but it shows up in this episode.

May 20, 2023 – Day 17

A momentous day. I attended my first convention since 2021. Since I am in Michigan, I attended Motor City Comic Con. The main activity was chasing down autographs.

Christopher Lloyd as Commissioner Helgait.

Jason Isaac was super friendly and shared insights on role in Netflix’s The OA!

  • CW S1E11
First appearance of Hondo Ohnaka. I just love the colors on his Kowakian Monkey Lizard!

A gundark and his really big ears!

May 19, 2023 – Day 16

Happy Empire Day!
Empire Day, I love it! All hail our glorious empire!
Happy Boonta Eve!
  • CW S1E10
    • Grievous’ secret lair is revealed to be on Vassek 3.
    • We see statues of Grievous as a Khaleesh warrior before his augments.
Nahdarr Vebb, a brash young Jedi. A super cool, action figure.

May 18, 2023 – Day 15

  • CW S1E9
We meet Commander Gree of the 41st Elite Corps for the first time. He will lose his head in ROTS.

May 17, 2023 – Day 14

  • CW S1E8
    • You see the planet Rodia for the first time, and it is swampy.
    • Jar Jar finds a Jedi robe in the closet of Padmé’s ship and wonders to whom it belongs. 🧐🤣

  • CW S1E7
Droid fight!

May 15, 2023 – Day 12

    • Locations mentioned: Faleen & Bothawui. Still no Bothans 🙁
A gold droid? Yes, please! 😍

While not intimidating Gha Nachkt is one mean Trandoshan!

May 14, 2023 – Day 11

  • CW S1E5
    • We see the first appearance of a recently graduated Domino Squad as a bunch of “shinies” given their first assignment on the Rishi moon.
    • RIP 🪦 Cutup, Droidbait, and Hevy. 😢
    • The musical broadcast gives a shout out to the Mud-Jumpers of the 224th Batallion on the planet Mimban.
Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy Thank the Maker Day! Happy birthday to the guy who started it all!

May 13, 2023 – Day 10

  • CW S1E4
    • General grievous greets Kenobi with a “Hello there!”
The Malevolence is so large it has several trains to move passengers from bow to stern quickly. You can hear the warning to “mind the gap.” Anakin and Padmé use one of the tunnels to sneak in some private time. 😘
One of Padmé’s many outfits. According to Hasbro, this is her Adventure Outfit.

May 12, 2023 – Day 9

  • CW S1E3
  • Visions V2E9

May 11, 2023 – Day 8

  • CW S1E2
  • Visions V2E8
Commander Wolffe’s first appearance. He is surprisingly not wearing his armor.
The Malevolence is one gigantic ship!
Totally recognized Daveed Diggs’ voice in the Visions episode The Pit.

May 10, 2023 – Day 7

May 7, 2023 – Day 4

  • Young Jedi Adventures, Episode 4
  • Visions V2E3
  • Attack of the Clones
    • Captain Typho jinxed it! 🤦🏻‍♂️
    • Did Orn Free Taa bring 2 of his side pieces to a meeting with the Chancellor?
    • At the end, where Dooku meets Palpatine in the Works is the same location for the climax of episode 4 of Tales of the Jedi!

May 6, 2023 – Day 3

  • Young Jedi Adventures, Episode 3
  • Trivia buffs: JediNews shared this super intense trivia contest via the Star Wars Escape Pod podcast. The higher level questions go into legends and video games. Give it a listen!

  • Tales of the Jedi, Episode 4

May 5, 2023 – Day 2
#RevengeOfTheFifth

  • Young Jedi Adventures, Episode 2
  • The Phantom Menace
    • There are things I do not remember. Like, extra scenes in the podrace. Is there a special edtion I was not aware of?
    • The CGI is surprisingly good. Jarjar, Sebulba, and Watto look great! Almost all of Naboo looks amazing. The scenes on the fields are the ones where the CGI is noticeable.
    • Who was braiding Padmé’s hair? Surely, there were bigger priorities than looking THAT good. 😍 (Discovered on day 41, after reading Queen’s Peril, that the handmaindens quickly braided Padmé’s hair).
  • Visions, V2E1

May 4, 2023 – Day 1

The interview in this YouTube video really adds a lot to the episode of Visions.
  • Carrie Fisher’s Walk of Fame Ceremony
  • While it isn’t Star Wars, it is the Star Wars of Marvel. Guardians of the Galaxy, Volume 3
